This is known as the Gooty Sapphire Ornamental Tree Spider (Poecilotheria metallica) and even its name is all favor. They're madly uncommon, too, just being discovered in a solitary area which is extremely divided. The degree of event is less than 100 km2. Environment: Southeastern India and Sri Lanka Status: Critically Endangered.
